The Spirogrinder Series of machines are uniquely designed for the sanding of hard wood floors and decking. The three head planetary counter rotating machines are perfect for any size job and leave a beautifully flat natural surface to then refinish as desired. The Spirogrinders patented drive system allows for smooth operation and has, by design, slip-clutch ability. When obstructions are encountered on the floor surface, this clutch action protects machine and operator. The Spirogrinder can be fitted with heads that allow for coarse grit diamonds to start the process and then fitted with drivers that accept sandpaper or screen type sandpaper to bring the wood to the desired finish.
The unique planetary counter rotating action sands effectively and provides for a very flat surface. That aggressive action automatically addresses the high spots on the wood floors and is much easier to control that drum sanding methods. It also is much more difficult to gouge the surface as it has a natural action that feather into surrounding areas.
Unlike other machines, there is no torque to the operator when using these machines. Less fatigue and more productivity for the operator are some of the benefits because of this. The machines are available in 110v on all models so common house current can be used. 220v is also available by requested. Additionally the size of the Spirogrinders provides for easy transport to job site as well as up and down stairs and through doorways. |
